Construction Equipment Trade
Cross-border supply of construction machinery, earthmoving attachments and electrical plant equipment, contracted out of Hong Kong.
Registered nature of business · Hong Kong Business Registration
Treasury, settlement and contract administration for the group and its trading counterparties. Not a regulated financial service.
This is the group’s own finance function, extended to the counterparties it trades with. It covers treasury, multi-currency settlement, working-capital planning and the administration of trade documentation. It is not a financial service offered to the public.
Contracts are settled in Hong Kong dollars, offshore renminbi or US dollars through the company’s bank accounts. Currency exposure across a trade cycle is planned when the contract is priced, not after.
Every payment is matched to an underlying contract and to the documents that evidence performance.
Preparation and checking of commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading and certificates of origin; handling of documentary credits and the discrepancy correspondence that goes with them.
Records are retained for the periods required by the Companies Ordinance and the Inland Revenue Ordinance.
Counterparty and sanctions screening before onboarding and before first payment; beneficiary details confirmed through a channel other than the one that supplied them; no payment to a third party that is not named in the contract.
These controls exist because the group moves goods across borders, not because a regulator requires them of a company of this kind.
