The same five stages apply whether the subject is a trencher, a warehouse or a shareholding. Screening comes before commercial terms, and payment moves against documents.
A counterparty brings a requirement — a machine specification, an asset, a stake. We establish what is actually being bought and under whose law.
Counterparty, ownership and sanctions screening before any commercial term is discussed. Findings are documented and kept on file.
Terms are set out in Hong Kong under Incoterms 2020 for goods, or under a shareholders’ or purchase agreement for an asset or a stake.
Inspection, shipment and documentation for trade; completion and title registration for assets. Payment moves against documents, never ahead of them.
What the group keeps is administered at holding level — reporting, treasury, and the sequencing of any eventual exit.
